Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive and (mostly) well

It's just been a busy couple of months, and I haven't had the time or the brain space to get on LJ. You all know my whole anality thing about needing to backread the flist and all that. I've just been focusing on other things -- mostly Meghan, the little megalomaniac that she is. ;) I will be back up and running sometime in the not-too-distant future. But for now, I need to focus on a bigger situation, which is that my mom is in the ICU on a ventilator due to a lung infection that went haywire. She's been in there since Monday, and things were looking really scary, but we got good news about it today, and she should be off the ventilator by tomorrow or Friday at the latest, the doctors think. I don't have the time or energy to go into it in detail right now. On top of it all, I've got a bad cold myself and have been up a lot of the past three nights coughing my own lungs out. Aside from that, I feel fine, although I sound like a 70-year-old 4-pack-a-day smoker.

Anyway, that's it from me right now. Oh, agameofthree, I'm SO SO SO sorry about not getting your BPTP stuff out to you yet, but I will! Once this crisis with my mom's health passes, I will send you your stuff. *HUGS!*
