Hot celebrities
Because I am pulling an allnighter for a paper due in 7.5 hours (piece o' cake! ;)), I feel the need to procrastinate a bit here on LJ. Apparently, my situation isn't dire enough for me to be in full panic mode yet.

Since I have little to say other than "I hate writing papers," I will just mention, in case anyone's interested, that I got to meet Food TV celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis today. She was doing a book signing at a nearby mall, in a store called Sur la Table, which is kind of like Williams-Sonoma. My husband's really hot for her, so I humored him by going along for the signing. She was really nice, especially considering that she had been sitting at a table, with people constantly pointing cameras at her, and signing books for over an hour by the time we got to her. She's a bit too classically pretty for me; I prefer a more distinctive face--something quirkier, less everyday. But yeah, she was nice, and it made my husband happy, so that's always good. Me personally? I woulda taken Rufus Wainwright any day. Or Dan Radcliffe.

We did see a pretty nifty cappuccino machine while we were in the store.

But back to a better subject: Rufus Wainwright. And Dan Radcliffe.

Back to my paper.

But look at teh pretty. And teh awesomely dorky, yet incredibly hot, and extremely younger than me.

And the sexy icon. *points*

What can I say...I'm a sucka for a guy in eyeliner.

Gah, I'm feelin' ya on the all nighters. This is going to be one really stressful week here and though this may seem counterintuitive, I'm staying up a good part of the night tonight so that I'm not doing so later (or at least have less to do). Now that one paper is finished (out of two due Wednesday after two huge exams on Tuesday) I am now taking a break.

Yikes. Sounds like a really shitty week. Mine sucks, too. I've gotta get through three hours of class after handing in the paper. Then I come home, crash, wake up, and start putting stuff together for the two projects I have due on Wednesday.

Good for you for doing some sort of planning ahead. I can never bring myself to do that.

I have no choice but to start early because I would have a massive freak attack come Tuesday night and go on a massive criminal acts spree. And I don't want to spend my 21st birthday in prison, thanks. Two exams Tuesday, two papers Wednesday, an exam Thursday and then I have an hour and 45 minutes to get to my brother's play after class and if I'm speeding I'll get there in an hour and a half. Saturday can not get here fast enough. What is it with teachers being so batshit crazy the week before Easter?

Jeeeeez! Are your profs trying to KEEL JU??? Do they realize it's not final exam time yet?

Ugh, and to have your 21st birthday in the middle of it all? I just hope you get some good drinking in!

I just have no motivation for schoolwork anymore. I far prefer writing...and not of the academic variety. Well, that's not quite true. I hatehatehate the process of writing papers. But I like the papers once they are done. :P

No the 21st birthday is AFTER it all on Saturday. Trust me. I'll get some drinking in :P

Oh, excellent! (Good luck with the hangover on Easter, however...;) )

There will be no hangover because I intend to stop before being drunk enough to have one and know how to prevent them (you can never have too much water). Damn good thing I have a pretty high tolerance to alcohol it seems.

I once had a nice tolerance. Then I got out of practice. Alas.

I've been hungover only twice, but both times were fairly sucky.
